A guided day trip

The Aconcagua Mountain, which is the highest in the American Continent, is 6,962 mts./22.834 ft. high above sea level and is only 3 hours from Santiago de Chile.

We invite you to enjoy an unforgettable adventure that, in just one day, will take you throw the Chilean Central Valley, "Aconcagua" valley, Portillo ski resort, the international tunnel at 9.000 feet, the "Horcones" valley (the main route for "Aconcagua" climbers) and the Inca bridge.

During the excursion amazing mountains, green lagoons and imposing birds like the "Condor" can be seen.

We have every day trips with minimum 6 people (can be from diferents groups and hotels). The tour starts off between 7:30 and 8:00 AM from your hotel in Santiago de Chile, by minibus.

We do our first stop at the Aconcagua valley to see the "Salto del Soldado" Natural Monument. After that we follow the Aconcagua river up to the international border where we have to do the corresponding paperwork.

Once in the Aconcagua Park, we'll take some time for lunch and then a gentle one hour hike to the Horcones Lagoon and the Aconcagua viewpoint is done. From there, you can take photographs of this colossal mountain and its endless glaciers. We also do a 2 hours hike until a hang bridge over the "Horcones" river.

Upon return to Santiago we stop at the chilean custom for migration paperwork and one final stop is made in Portillo Ski Center. Here we'll visit the hotel and the beautiful Inca lake at 2.880 meters above sea level

We return to Santiago about 7:30 PM.

Price: $40.000 (USD 80) per person.

The tour includes a pic nic lunch (sandwich, cold drinks, fruit and chocolate) a bilingual guide for the whole journey.

We provide snowshoes in winter (between May and September)

What you need to bring: passport with migration card, comfortable shoes, sweater or wind jacket and sunscreen.
